30-minute neighborhood walks for exercise, enrichment, and a mid-day reset.
$25 for one dog

20-minute visit for feeding, water refreshes, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship.Medication needs? Please mention them in your inquiry so we can discuss what’s needed and whether it’s a good fit.

Overnight pet sitting
Comfortable in-home care so your pets can stay in their familiar environment while you’re away.Rates start at $50 per night. Please contact me directly for scheduling and pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Who will be walking my dog or taking care of my pet?
Me. The Local Wag is owner-operated. I do not currently employ other pet sitters/walkers.
WILL MY DOG BE WALKED WITH OTHER DOGS?
No. All walks are private unless otherwise discussed.
WILL MY PET INTERACT WITH OTHER ANIMALS?
No. Your pets will only interact with animals in their own household unless otherwise discussed.
How do meet & greets work?
Before your first service, we'll schedule a free meet & greet so I can meet you and your pets, learn their routine, answer questions, and make sure we're a good fit.
Do you offer services on weekends or holidays?
Yes. Weekend and holiday services are available. Holiday pricing may apply.
What areas do you serve?
The Local Wag primarily serves Golden, Applewood, Wheat Ridge, western Lakewood, and nearby neighborhoods. Additional travel fees may apply outside the primary service area.
do you care for cats?
Yes. Drop-in visits and pet sitting are available for cats and other household pets.
do you care for other animals besides dogs and cats?
Possibly. Please contact me to discuss your pet’s specific needs.
do you administer medication?
Medication requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please discuss your pet’s needs before booking.
will you transport my dog to a park or other location for walking?
No. Dogs are not transported in my vehicle. All walks are directly from the house.
